New website design for www.companyreporting.com
This is our first blog piece after the re-design of our website so we hope you like the new layout and design. Those of you who are regular visitors to the website will hopefully be aware that we have have been steadily upgrading the service in recent months. Our initial focus was on moving the website to faster web servers to give you the end user as fast and agile a user experience as possible. We then undertook an extensive re-design process that was focused on simplfiying the navigation, search, home page and subsequent landing pages to make it easier for you to find the content you desire.
The top menu now includes navigation to pages about the Company Reporting service including the products & services that are available, our impressive customer list which we are very proud of and a little bit about the team here at Company Reporting along with some frequently asked questions which is a good starting point if you have a question that you're not sure about.
Our main menu gives you direct access to all our reports: CR Monitor; CR Common Practices; CR Emerging Issues; CR Alerts & CR Reviews. On the report landing pages you will find the latest reports as well as the means to search through all the reports of that type. Using the search box on the right side of the page you can filter reports by either subject or a company that interests you.
Our indexes are also a great way to find content on the site and all our reports can be found by subject type or company name and our CR Monitor Reports are also indexed by ICB Industry Classification.
The most detailed way to search our site is using the Search box that is found at the top of the page to the right of our logo. This search box implements the Solr search index and using the filters on the right hand side of the page you can reduce your queries down to a very specific subset.

This is by no means the end of the changes to www.companyreporting.com, in the next few months we look forward to bringing you new features such as a site tailored for mobile browsing.
