New web service features and guide to login for the first time
Company Reporting is proud to announce the launch of its new and improved web service on 3rd December 2009!
The new service has a brand new look and feel with lots of new features including:
- The navigation is quicker and more intuitive giving you an enhanced and much faster experience when using the Members' Area. Our unique information is now packaged and delivered to save you as much research time as possible.
- We have added a powerful search engine coupled with guided search to help you find the right reports in the quickest time.
- New Country index to allow you to follow companies from country of domicile.
- Industry Sector index based on ICB Industry Classification allowing you to follow whichever sectors you desire from semi-conductors to hotels.
- An updated user profile section to let you keep control of your membership, to access this simply select "My Account" from the top Menu bar once you have logged into the site.
- A comments section at the bottom of our pieces to let you have your say on interesting topics/companies.
- You now have the ability to keep up to date with www.companyreporting.com via RSS feed. Simply click on the RSS feed symbol in the bottom left hand side of the footer and save it to your bookmarks.
- On top of this we are delighted to say that in the next couple of weeks we will be adding the IASB standards to the site, linked to the relevant reports as they are produced! This will make the 2010 Company Reporting our best product to date.
To login to the new site for the first time you will need to request an initial login new password which you will be allowed to change yourself from your user profile page found under "My Account" on the top menu bar once you have logged in. The reason why we have done this is to keep the site as secure as possible and to evolve with safe web practices as well as provide you the user with new features that we hope will make your experience of the site more enjoyable.
Your old username no longer works but you will be able to change your username from your user profile once you have logged in. Why have we done this? With the introduction of our new comments section if you post a comment your username will be displayed next to the comment. We felt it was appropriate for you to decide what your username would be if it was going to be made visible to the rest of our members.
To request a new password please use the "Request New Password" link on the login tab found on the left hand column of the page. Using your registered email address then request a new password by selecting "Email new password" – this will be sent to you directly and you will then be able to login using your email address and password.
Please take the time to familiarise yourself with the new site, and to login and take a look at your user profile and amend any details that may be incorrect.
Should you have any problems or queries please contact us and you will be answered as soon as possible.
