Omkar Joshi - Commercial Manager - Croner-i Tax, Audit & Accounting

Omkar is a KPMG-trained qualified accountant and an MBA from London Business School. Omkar has spent over 8 years working with Thomson Reuters, one of the largest publishers of tax and accounting information in the US. Omkar brings years of technical accounting expertise gained through previous senior management positions and as an independent consultant assisting companies such as Reuters, BBC, Chrysalis and CBS with their financial reporting, particularly IFRS implementations. Omkar is responsible for the overall performance of Company Reporting.

Julia Bowyer ACA - Accounting and Audit Content Manager at Croner-i  

Julia is responsible for ensuring our content is relevant, accessible and technically strong, Julia is supported by an expert team of in-house technical authors and specialist external authors. Before joining Croner-i, Julia was at PwC for 17 years where she had experience of audit, accounting and structuring advice, technical helplines, reviews of listed financial statements and due diligence. With knowledge across company law, UK GAAP and IFRS, her most recent specialisms were real estate and infrastructure.

David Stein MA is a Content Editor at Croner-i 

In this role his current area of responsibility is the Company Reporting website which tracks and monitors the application of IFRS and wider reporting practice in published financial statements. He has an in-depth knowledge of IFRS reporting requirements and extensive analysis skills developed over a more than 15 year career examining accounting practice. In that time he has been involved in preparing reports which have guided governments, corporate clients, regulators and auditors in the application of financial reporting practice and the assessment of accounting information.

We have a knowledgeable and highly trained team of analysts with a wealth of experience in the evaluation and interpretation of published financial reporting information. All our analysts who are qualified accountants have extensive knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and specialise in the assessment and appraisal of the application of such in the published financial statements of over 2000 public companies drawn from a range of geographies. This analysis forms the basis for us to write our highly informative articles monitoring and commenting on how IFRS is applied in practice by listed companies.  

Anne Cowley ACA - Senior Audit and Accountancy Technical Writer at Croner-i

She is the author of a wide range of our products such as Croner-i Preparing Small and Micro Company Accounts, Croner-i Preparing FRS 102 Company Accounts and Model Accounts (MAC). She has a wealth of technical knowledge and experience gained from working in ICAEW's technical advisory service, advising chartered accountants  on a wide range of technical and ethical issues, and in Deloitte's central technical accounting and financial reporting team, where she was one of the firm's central New UK GAAP specialists. Anne is a member of the ICAEW National Technical Advisory Committee.

James Waller BA (Hons) CA - Audit and Accountancy Technical Writer at Croner-i

He qualified at Crowe Clark Whitehill in London where he gained experience in auditing charities and larger corporate organisations. He also has experience of auditing a range of other clients, from travel agents, property developers, finance traders and manufacturing companies. He has also worked within industry, working as financial controller for a £5m turnover business.

Rachel Farris FCA CTA - Audit and Accountancy Technical Writer at Croner-i

In her role at Croner-i she focuses on disclosure checklists (ICADC) and practice management products such as ELT. Starting her career in Deloitte's audit department, she has followed a diverse path which has included working in teh tax departments of Deloitte's in the UK and PwC in New Zealand, giving her a real breath of experience and expertise. Before joining Croner-i, Rachel worked in the accounting consulting team of PwC New Zealand, advising on a wide range of technical accounting issues under IFRS, specialising particualrly in assets, share-based payments and not for profit entities.
